Dear Guests, prospective guests, those that might refer guests:

Dear Guests, prospective guests, those that might refer guests:

I understand myself to be an apprentice of gospel Jesus. Since my earliest memory, though I'm only beginning to understand it.

I'm irresistibly drawn to his way because I think it is the joyful life, and I want that for me, but much more than that I'd like to be a tiny beacon that might lead someone else to the same.

Every breath, every resource, every talent, every time that I have is for this purpose. And never to influence people away from the way that gospel Jesus lived, or to stay away from it.

I'm learning. Slowly. I'm a work in progress. I'm at it every waking breath because I can't resist the joy of it. But I have so much to learn, and so much of man's way to unlearn.

And it is obvious to anyone and everyone that cares to see the facts, that we are out of time. More than $35 billion dollars is being spent rapidly to establish forced labor camps around the country where as quickly as they can they will force every vulnerable person they can into work camps. They make money as soon as they get someone in there because they get taxpayers to pay them for it. And then they put them to slave labor to make more money.

The purpose of Master Jesus Base camp is to be a stepping stone toward the joyful life of devotedly serving the community that gospel Jesus exemplifies, and away from the hellish life that Satan's minions are building in the form of these slave camps.

If I could force vulnerable people to take advantage of Master Jesus base camp, a stepping stone to a better life, I wouldn't. I must never try and live another person's life for them. But as long as I can I will make it available.

Everyone here beside James who pays the mortgage etc, is a guest, here only when James says so, gone when James says so. Nothing changes that.

But if guests are honest with themselves and James, there is never a time that they should worry. Although it takes some reading and thought, James has already been extremely clear as to the behavior that is likely to make a guest welcome, and that departing from that behavior will make them immediately unwelcome.

But as James learns from the spirit of our Father within him, he will continue to share. No surprises.

Going forward guests are likely to find that James provides support for people in one of three phases:

1. Rest, recovery, orientation. Up to 13 nights where a guest abiding by the way here, can be safe and secure resting up for their next day's work.

2. Beginning to serve the community. Eligibility for additional nights of safety and security will be available for each 1/2 hour or hour that someone demonstrates that they have been serving the community, or themselves. See this post for an explanation. https://www.basecampjesus.org/2025/08/Master-Jesus-Mission-House-Cortez.html

3. 8 hours a day 5 days a week serving the community, including by developing themselves and their situation seriously. We are all members of the community, it can be that by advancing our own lives we are serving the community. And certainly each hour that we spend in meaningful service to Church of the Nazarene, Grace's kitchen, the salvation army, and the like, we are serving the community.

It probably won't be soon that I, apprentice James, will be able to be more concise than I am so far in helping guests and prospective guests understand the way here to empower them to succeed if they so choose. But I'll continue to do my best and hope that occasionally it might work out.

A note of caution. We all are inclined to it, I certainly am. The attitude of, gee, I hope I'm doing well enough, I hope my laps isn't noticed, I hope so and so cuts me some slack. None of us are expected to be perfect at Master Jesus Base camp. But if a guest is not sure that they are doing their share, or even much more than their share of the agreement, they should feel uneasy. Because they are probably making themselves unwelcome. If on the other hand they can honestly say to themselves, they are doing their part of the agreement tremendously well, behaving in a way that More than fulfills what is written on this site, and more importantly the spirit and example given us by gospel Jesus, then they have no cause for concern.
