Basecamp Jesus (FOR THOSE WITH URGENT MISSIONS.)

[Note. I'm not complaining but I find it interesting. This isn't my place. I don't want this place. I don't want a house. I don't want property. My vehicle will continue to be my dwelling. But I can't resist the joy of trying to be the best possible neighbor in the city of cortez , and especially for the once or twice a year sibling from the streets or elsewhere that needs a little support launching their life in a better direction away from the slow motion suicide that is the chosen lifestyle here.] The laborer is worthy of his rest, Jesus. I've come to realize that everything that Jesus spoke as though he was telling us how we should live, was the description of how he lived. He is the master. 8/22/25 Update: the pressure on James mounts. It isn't over till it's over but it certainly looks like this house will have been purchased by mid-september. No known obstacles are apparent. Jesus said, he that knows the Lord's will, and does not prepare himself, nor act according to his Lord's will, shall be beaten with many stripes. Gulp. I can only imagine how Jesus my Lord, my master, is evaluating his Apprentice James here, but I sure am imagining that.  ( under development. Join in the work.) The son of man has nowhere to rest his head.  Us too. Did Jesus need rest? Yes. Did he want rest? Just what was needed for the mission, and he took it. Did Jesus stay in one place?  He went where he was needed.  His Home was where he was needed.

Which breath you are given is yours, not God's?  Do you realize how liberated, free that makes you?!?!??!! So, when your servant (you) comes in from the fields, do you tell him to go eat?  NO! You say, go and wash up, change your clothes, prepare and serve the master's meal, clean up... and then go eat! What did anyone OWN in the parables?  Nothing.  It was the property of the lord. What are the exceptions, things that you actually own? Which are NOT the Master's talents placed in your charge to PUT TO USE? Each breath? A car? A place to sleep? A place to work? Food? Drink? Land? etc? Are there ANY exceptions? Who was the most fortunate of the servants: The one given 1 talent?  5? 10?  THE ONE THAT BEST USED WHAT THEY WERE GIVEN DOING THE MASTER'S WILL.

Perpetually leaving seats at the table for everyone, especially the local community leaders.
